Second Annual Faith and Families Summit

Last April, the religious leaders of CCO organized the Faith and Families Summit in Jefferson City, MO.  It was a first-of-its-kind event with over 200 clergy, denominational and lay leaders traveling from across the state to the capitol.

Their testimonies and solutions were heard by 53 legislators and the Lt. Governor.

The Director of Social Services, the Director of Medicaid and 18 legislators pledged their support for at least one of CCO’s proposals to cover more low-income children and adults with health insurance.
